The Mt Pleasant & Grand-Bay Community Development Organization

The Mt Pleasant & Grand-Bay Community Development Organization congratulates you on your 40th Anniversary.

The Mt Pleasant and Grand-Bay Development Organization was started in 1993. In 2001 we became the Mt Pleasant and Grand-Bay Community Development Organization, working to improve our community.

We are constructing a multi-purpose centre with assistance and funding from organizations such as the Government of Grenada, the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives, the Mt Pleasant & Grand-Bay Club (New York), the Grenada Benevolent Society UK and our own fund raising efforts.

We have completed half (1/2) of the building (see photograph). At present we are able to use the centre for all social events in the community and local training programs. It is also the local hurricane shelter. There are still lots of work to be done and more funding will be greatly appreciated.

Once again, many congratulations to you and we wish your organization continues to develop for another 40 years.
